Are you a cool dude who’s a bit techie, but mad for Adventure, well Sciencecamps have the camp for you. This year we are offering camps in 5 locations in Cork City & County: Adventure & Science Camps and Future Techie Camps. Lego Education is a big feature of our camps: LEGO© MINDSTORMS© and LEGO© WeDo©. Its a great fun way to engage kids in engineering. And remember, the camps are for girls too!
Adventure & Science Camps – with LEGO© MINDSTORMS©

Lifetime Lab, Cork City : (12-15yrs) June 18-21
The Glen Resource & Sports Centre, Cork City: (8-12 yrs) July 1-4
Full day camps for 8-15 year olds (See above for ages of each camp). The Glen Centre camp consists of adventure and science activities each day. Lifetime Lab camp consists of 3 days of Science/Lego and 1 Adventure Day at an Kinsale Outdoor Centre. (Transport included in camp fee, bus pickup at 9am at camp venue). We will run experiments with a secondary school in Tanzania during the Lifetime Lab Camp.
Future Techie Camps – with LEGO© WeDo©(No Adventure)

Full day camps for 7-10 year olds. These camps feature 2 hrs LEGO every day, CSI Science and Fun Experiments. Adventure activities are not included in these camps. CSI will include dusting fingerprints with metallic shavings and lifting them from glass surfaces. LEGO includes Motorised Robotics for younger children but 10 year olds can use LEGO Mindstorms if they wish.
Science Camps – with LEGO© MINDSTORMS©

Full day camps for 9-13 year olds. These camps feature 2 hrs LEGO every day, CSI Science and Fun Experiments. Adventure activities are not included in these camps. CSI will include dusting fingerprints with metallic shavings and lifting them from glass surfaces. LEGO includes Motorised Robotics and LEGO Mindstorms.
