Welcome to Adventure & Science Camps- The Glen Resource & Sports Centre, Cork City. This is the place where Education and Fun meet. We are delighted to offer a camp for 8-12 year olds in The Glen. The camp includes Adventure Activities and Science/Lego Activities each day.

Full Day Camps: 9.30am to 2pm, Monday – Thursday.

Science Activities
Camps include the following:
- Fun Games for half hour in the morning
- The group is then split into two groups. One group participates in Adventure Activities while the other does the Science/Lego part of the day. After lunch the groups change around with one group participating in Science/Lego and the other group having Adventure.
Science/Lego part of the day consists of:
- LEGO Education: 1.5 hrs will be given over to LEGO. LEGO Mindstorms for kids aged 10+ and LEGO WeDo for kids aged 8-10. Both involve robotics and computer programming.
- CSI – our 2nd Year Med student will take you through the gorey details of CSI Science. Fingerprinting using Metallic Shavings, Making a mould of the suspects footprint.
- Electronics – Wire a Burgler Alarm, Use Fruit to power a clock.
Staff
Students will be supervised at all times. All staff have undergone extensive training and have been Garda vetted.
Insurance
The camp is fully insured.
Adventure Activities
We have an exciting Adventure Program with Adventure activities each day.
Adventures include: Zipwiring, Highropes, Archery, Team Building.
